ACADEMIC OFFER, LENGTH OF THE STUDIES AND TEACHING LANGUAGE

In present, the Faculty of Medicine Constanţa offers a wide range of
specialties within the undergraduate medical study in English, such as:

* Specialty of General Medicine ................................. 6 years study
* Faculty of Midwives .................................................. 4 years study
* Faculty of Nursing .................................................... 4 years study
* College of Balneophysiotherapy .............................. 3 years study
* College of Clinical Laboratory ................................ ..3 years study

The Language of instruction is English or Romanian (if the students learned
Romanian within the preparatory year).

Postgraduate medical specialties, such as:

Morphopathology, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Vascular Surgery,
Orthopedics, Laboratory medicine, Radiology, Internal Medicine,
Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Diabetes, Pneumoftiziology,
Oncology, Neurology, Urology, Obstetrics-Gynecology, Pediatrics, Pediatric
Surgery, Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology, Ophthalmology, O.R.L., Family
(General) Medicine, Psychiatry, Clinical Genetics.

Duration: 4 to 7 years, according to the specialty

Approx. fee per academic year: 3800 US $. The fee is subject to be changed
only upon the decision of the Romanian Ministry of Education, Research and
Innovation.

There is no age limit for entering the program.

The foreign doctors are allowed to practice in Romania, under the supervision
of the Head of the Department were they are enrolled in the specialty.

The Language of instruction is English or Romanian (if the students learned
Romanian within the preparatory year).

M. A. (Masteral) study within the fields of:

* Normal and pathological morphology of the anatomical structures
* Gastroenterology and hepatology
* General surgery

Duration: 1 year

Approx. fee per academic year: 3800 US $. The fee is subject to be changed
only upon the decision of the Romanian Ministry of Education, Research and
Innovation.

There is no age limit for entering the program.

PhD (Doctoral) study

Our offer includes two types of PhD study:

With frequency – the applicant is attending all the classes and lectures

Duration: 4 years of study in different medical specialties.

Approx. fee per academic year: 3800 US $. The fee is subject to be changed
only upon the decision of the Romanian Ministry of Education, Research and
Innovation.

There is no age limit for entering the program.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The admission requirements are the one respecting the Romanian and E.U.
laws and regulations, respectively a High School graduation with a minimal of
50% credits in the following disciplines: Biology, Physics and Chemistry.

*  Photocopy or authenticated copy of the certificate of studies;
* Authenticated copy of the birth certificate;
* Authenticated copy of the passport + two passport photos;
* Medical certificate;
* The list of results of the completed study years (Academic Transcripts) for
postgraduate studies applicants and for those wishing to continue studies
begun in other countries.

The Letter of acceptance, is a condition not only for the enrolment but also for
the granting of the entry visa into Romania, when necessary
